Mark your calendars and prepare to have a good time! The Rotary Park Cruise is always fun, with music, games and great company! We have the large pavilion reserved all day Sunday, November 15, from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Sail over and anchor off the beach, just west of red ICW Marker 94. GPS coordinates are: 28° 13.82' N -80° 40.24' W
Or drive to the park; the entrance is at Suntree Boulevard and US-1. The gate will be open extra hours for this event. Bring your own food and beverage of choice.
Pizza will be served around 1 p.m.
This event will be held entirely outdoors and COVID-friendly.
Some of us are planning to sail there Saturday afternoon and anchoring overnight. The rocket launch planned for Saturday evening has been delayed to Sunday evening -- thanks to MaryAnn O'Shea for that information! So there is still the option of sailing to the park either Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning. Also, some of us plan to stay Sunday night, and hope to enjoy a spectacular view of the Falcon 9 rocket launch carrying 4 astronauts to the Space Station. Liftoff scheduled for 7:27 p.m. Sunday.
